Jonah is a Chicago-based actor, singer, performer, and writer. From a young age, Jonah dreamed of a career in the arts, and knew he belonged in front of a crowd. From the living room plays he created with his brother and sister to his theatrical premiere as the second act Toto in The Wizard of Oz in second grade to his Chicago professional debut in Blank Theatre Company's production of Spring Awakening, Jonah constantly looks for new and different opportunities to perform for others. He recently received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from the Chicago College of Performing Arts (CCPA) at Roosevelt University, where he has been seen in many different roles, including Bobby Strong in Urinetown and Medvedenko in The Seagull.
Originally from Newton, Massachusetts, Jonah moved to Chicago in 2015 and discovered a love for the city he now calls home. When not performing, Jonah enjoys playing guitar, modeling in photoshoots with his friends, exploring the city, playing video games, and reading and writing of all kinds. He has not-so-secret passions for punk rock, politics, and social justice. Some of his personal heroes include Kurt Cobain, Bryan Stevenson, and Stevie Nicks. He loves foreign cuisine of all kinds, and is always ready to have new experiences and try new things.
